When a market data point arrives without a timestamp, without a baseline, and without an aggregator methodology, it is not a signal. It is a prompt. Tracing the noise floor to find the alpha signal means asking one question first: whose volume is this?
BNB sits inside a dual system. It is the exchange token of Binance, and it is the gas token of BNB Chain. That makes the 65% number dangerously ambiguous. Spot markets on Binance. Derivatives across multiple venues. On-chain DEX liquidity on BSC. Each has a different economic meaning. CEX volume is opaque.
